Welcome to Oakbridge Little Learners

At Oakbridge Little Learners, we pride ourselves on being a small, family-run nursery with a warm, homely atmosphere where every child is nurtured, valued, and encouraged to thrive. Located in the heart of Chase Terrace, Burntwood, our setting offers a safe and welcoming environment tailored to suit the needs of young children.

Formerly known as St Joseph’s Nursery, we moved into our beautiful new premises in September 2020 and rebranded to reflect our fresh start. Our purpose-designed, detached building features dedicated rooms for each age group, helping to create a calm and supportive space for children to learn and grow. We’re also lucky to have a fantastic outdoor area, including a covered canopy space so children can enjoy fresh air and play in all weathers.

We care for children from six months old through to pre-school age and are open 51 weeks a year, only closing for a short break at Christmas. Our experienced, passionate team is supported by an engaged and hands-on management, ensuring high standards of care and communication at every stage.

We proudly offer all forms of Government childcare funding, including Childcare Vouchers, Think2 funding, 15-hour funding for three-year-olds, and 30-hour funding for eligible families.

What Our Parents Say

Jayne Blake
My grandson has been with Lyn since St Joseph's Nursery. I highly recommend the nursery to new parents; the staff are very well qualified and dedicated to our children, the setting itself is spotless and beautiful, the management team are caring and there for the families. It really has been the best thing we ever did for my grandson, it will be such a wrench when he has to go to school... Thank you all!!!!

My little boy, who is three, started Oakbridge Little Learners at the beginning of January after we moved him from a different nursery. He has come on so much in the last two months it’s so wonderful to see. He was diagnosed with a speech delay at the end of 2019 and with the pandemic and lack of social interaction we hit a stumbling block with his communication. Lyn and the team have taken on his individual targets given to us by SALT and work on them all the time. He has come on leaps and bounds. He is always so excited to go to nursery and asked to go everyday over half term. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to send him here. He has started to make friends and talk about them at hone which he has never done before. This nursery is certainly a home from home. Thank you for all your hard work and dedication.

I have known Lyn from her previous nursery where my daughter attended, my son now attends oak bridge little learners and I honestly can’t recommend it here enough, all the staff are so caring and nothing is to much to ask, my son had no socialisation with others due to the pandemic and he settled here on the first day no problems. Never been a day where I’ve felt nervous about leaving my little boy here, he absolutely adores nursery and is such a clever little boy due to attending! 💓

I highly recommend Oakbridge Little Learners. As a first time mum going back to work during the pandemic, I was nervous about sending my little boy to nursery. I needn't have worried. My little one settled in so quickly, has made friends and just loves being there. He's developed so much in the 6 months he's attended and some days I struggle to get him to leave. I wanted a nursery that would look after him as if he were family and that's exactly what i got at Oakbridge Little Learners.
